Mind the Gap: an editor's guide to American and British English
This is the first comprehensive guide to American and British English; even better, we wrote it specifically for editors. Editing across nationalects is an important skill in the business and publishing world. If you need help preparing a British manuscript for American publication or American marketing copy for British distribution, we have that skillset.
Business English: essential language skills for global professionals
This is an ESL textbook written and edited in-house for a global audience. It incorporates modern pedagogical practises in teaching adult ESL students. The course is broken into 8 units of 5 lessons each, with each unit targeting a different business concept or competency.
This manuscript highlights our ability to edit for non-native English audiences in a curricular context.
The Kingdom of Darkness
For this 17th century manuscript, we did a full treatment of editing. We then used a pdf of the original printing and digitally restored the woodblock prints throughout.
Using modern design tools, we took a transcribed manuscript of the book and gave it a new lease on life while preserving the unique cultural and literary atmosphere of the original.
The Native English Collection
In coordination with Native English Publishing, we designed and edited a comprehensive ESL curriculum (11 titles) for digital publication.
This project required extensive use of Adobe InDesign and adjacent programs.
